Park & Launch - "Maximum pleasure, minimum effort"
With our new improved boat yard facility we can offer Park and Launch for up to 250 boats.
All boats are parked in our secure yard with CCTV surveillance and when the customers want to go boating, we hitch up the tractor and launch them down the slipway so that they can just turn the key and have a day of excitement and fun.
We now offer a bronze, silver and gold service, with the gold service including park & launch, in the water ready to go and wash down service at the end of the day.
Moorings
The Fleet is a secluded conservation area with shelter from the wind from most directions. It is an ideal area of water for mooring as it has immediate access to Portland Harbour and the open sea. The Fleet is rated amongst the purest water areas in the United Kingdom.
Blue Water Horizons manage the 180 swinging moorings in the Fleet and none of the moorings dry out so they have access at all states of the tide. All the moorings are checked and re-laid every spring.
A new access bridge and pontoons have been provided for easy loading and unloading of boats, together with a slipway for launching boats.
