Boat Trips for Summer 2010
Boat Cruise for 2010 – come and play!
The trips are open to anyone and we would like to encourage any brands or types of powerboats to come along. We hope we have put together trips that every type of boat can at least come along on one of them.
Poole May 22nd
This will be our first trip and will start from our Portland branch and go to our Poole, berthing at Dolphin Quay so that you can have a stroll around Poole and have lunch. Our Poole branch staff will be there to meet us and enjoy the day. We will leave later in the afternoon for a leisurely cruise back. This trip is appropriate for bowriders and cuddies.
Cherbourg May 29th – May 31st
This longest distance trip of the summer will happen at the end of May over the bank holiday weekend and will leave from Portland branch to Cherbourg. This trip will only be appropriate for larger cruisers. We will cruise to Cherbourg and then stay overnight having a full day there for you to enjoy the French cuisine and culture. On the third day we will cruise back together in the safety of a flotilla. Please be aware that you will need an ICC certificate to take part in this trip and we will need a copy of this in advance to fax to Cherbourg.
Brixham/Torquay July 3rd – July 4th
The third trip is to Brixham or Torquay and will take place over two days. We will leave jointly from Portland and Poole and stay overnight in Torquay/Brixham. This trip is open to cuddies and cruisers.
Isle of Wight July 31st –August 1st
The fourth trip is at the end of July and will leave jointly from Portland and Poole and go to the Isle of Wight with an overnight stay. Cuddies and cruisers can join us on these trips and if you are confident, we are happy to work with any bowriders that want to come and stay in a B and B overnight. If you have not visited the Isle of Wight before, you will be in for a lovely treat and it is well worth the journey.
Lulworth Cove picnic August 29th
The last trip of the summer is a customer appreciation day for existing BWH customers and will be at Lulworth Cove. We will leave jointly from the Poole and Portland branches and meet at Lulworth Cove for a free picnic. This will take place at the end of August.

If you are not existing BWH customers or have not yet bought a boat, please feel free to come along. There is often room on boats that are going and it is a great time to experience boating first hand. This is a safe way to gain experience and it is always great fun. We will announce more as we get closer to the dates.
